My Favorite Bear

 Hello y'all,

I'd forgotten that I'd seen my favorite bear on designer paper from Echo Park via a YT video!

I couldn't believe that Echo Park had been given permission to put the old Pooh Bear image drawn by E. H. Shepard onto paper that is typically used for crafting!

I was so thrilled that I went directly to the site to purchase a 6x6 pad and other Pooh crafty bits to share with my friend, Audrey.  When it arrived, I had to make some cards, to which I shared with my friend, as well, because we both just love Winnie the Pooh so much!

As you can see, I used the Winnie the Pooh character that was drawn a bit differently while under the ownership of Walt Disney.  I have some of the original Pooh images but I'll use them on another set of cards.  I found these on Google search and had a bunch cut out as die cuts.

The paper in the 6x6 paper pad is super cute, even has images on the original Pooh.  I like the renewed image by Disney because it goes so well with the papers in my stash.

Happy Crafting!

More Cards to Cards for Kindness

 Hello everyone,

Here are the cards I have sent to Cards for Kindness last month.  My goal is to create about 25 cards per month to send to them.

I use a variety of images, some from Google search, some are die cuts and some are from Creative Fabrica.

I made a bunch using Microsoft Bing Creator to make an artificial intelligence image.

The base is typical - plain with one layer.  I did a circle background on the teapot because I fussy cut it out and loved the paper.  I didn't want it to be too busy, so I put a circle die cut behind it.

I enjoy making cards.  Hopefully, I will go to the Senior Center and volunteer to teach a small class on making greeting cards.

Do what you LOVE what you do.

I See Mushrooms

 Hello peeps,

It's been awhile...but I am still making cards to send to my charity: Cards for Kindness.

My friend, Audrey, sent me a bunch of dies and I have been playing with them and creating a lot of fun to keep my mind occupied.  Here's what I've been making with the mushroom dies:

Audrey also sent me this cool embossing folder - see the mushrooms in the background? How cool is that? They go so well with these mushrooms that I created using my Cricut Joy Xtra.

I found some washi tape that went so well with the mushrooms that I had randomly cut one day and decided to make a card using it as a border on the layered cardstock.  It's funny, while posting this, I forgot about it being washi tape and had originally wrote that it was card stock.  Then I took a closer look and remembered I used washi tape - you can look at the corners and tell from the overlap. <lol>

Memory...sometimes it gets lost.  :-)

Happy crafting!
